Hammond, Indiana, is the most populated city in Lake County, and part of the Chicago Metropolitan region. The city is located on the shores of Lake Michigan and is the home of many landmarks, such as Purdue University, Wolf Lake, Horseshoe Hammond Riverboat Casino, and the Jean Shepherd Community Center . Hessville is one of the six neighborhoods that surrounds Hammond. Our neighbors include Central Hammond, Northern Hammond, Robertsdale, South Hammond, and Woodmar.
